About Me
Hi, I’m Natalie, welcome to my little corner of the birth world!
A little about me and how I can support you through your pregnancy journey & the early days of parenthood…
I am a Mum to my beautiful daughters Florence & Connie. They are my reason, my being, my everything. All that I strive for, both in my home life & working life, I do to make the world a little brighter for them.
I have dedicated my career to supporting women throughout their pregnancy, birth and the early days of mastering life with a newborn.
In the beginning, I worked within the Health Visiting Service. I was offered a place on a small training course in ‘Breastfeeding Support’ which opened my eyes to the world of infant feeding, I was hooked.
After struggling to feed my own baby, I returned from maternity leave into a dedicated Infant Feeding role supporting women who also found feeding a challenge.
I continued this role for a number of years before heading into Midwifery. After hearing hundreds of birth stories as a support worker, I wanted to be an advocate & empower women to have positive birth and feeding experiences.
I am a registered Midwife & still practice within the NHS. As a midwife I chose to be a part of the Home-birth Team, supporting women who chose to birth outside of the hospital unit or planned to ‘birth outside of guidance’.
Alongside my Midwifery degree I have undertaken additional training to become:
A Hypnobirthing teacher (The Perinatal Academy)
A Baby Massage Teacher (Baby & Me)
A Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner ( Anna Le Grange)
A Fatherhood Institute Champion (Fatherhood Institute)
Qualified Tongue Tie Practitioner (University of Wolverhampton)
I am currently studying towards becoming a Lactation Consultant.
